HOOVER, Ala. -- Theodore W. Malinovsky, 24, of Hoover, Ala., formerly of Lorain, died

Monday, July 30, 2001, while vacationing in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., after a lifelong

illness.

He was born Jan. 25, 1977 in Lorain and lived in Vermilion until moving to Alabama in 1983.

He graduated form Hoover High School in 1996 and was attending Jefferson State Community College

in Alabama.

Malinovsky was employed at Tropical Smoothies in Hoover, Ala.

He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Hoover, and a former member of St. Vincent

De Paul Catholic Church, Elyria. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the American Pool

Association. He had also played Little League baseball.

Survivors include his parents, Richard and Kathy (nee Dellefield) of Hoover, Ala.; sister, Kimberly M.

Anderson of Hoover, Ala.; a nephew and two nieces; his paternal grandmother, Janet Malinovsky of

Lorain; and maternal grandmother, Clara Dellefield of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his paternal

grandfather, Theodore Malinovsky, in 1976.

Friends may call Friday 6 to 9 p.m. at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Services at the

funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m. will be followed at 10 a.m. by Mass in St. Vincent De Paul Catholic

Church, 41295 North Ridge Road East, Elyria. The Rev. Gaetano Menegatto will officiate. Burial will be

in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
