                                           Thelma L. Dellefield

 

Thelma L. Dellefield, 91, of Lorain died Saturday  March 11,2000 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short illness.Born in Cleveland, she lived in Lorain about 80 years.She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer in Lorain and an active member of the church's St. Elizabeth's Guild, Service Guild and Episcopal Church Women.       
Mrs. Dellefield also was a member of the Ladies League of the Lorain Yacht Club for more than 25 years.                                             
She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, playing cards and being with her family. She was a founding member of the Rin Tin Tin Bridge Club.                             
Survivors include daughters Laurel Sprague of Elyria and            Carol Goodman of Roslyn Heights, N.Y.; six grandchildren;     and three great-grandchildren.     
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Grant Dellefield; her parents, Harriet and Clifford Arndt; a sister, Ethel Weatherford; a brother, Elmer "Bud"Arndt; and a half brother, Hugh Johnson.           
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. June 4 at the Church of the Redeemer, 647 Reid ave., Lorain
