Peter Schueller's House
Back Yard as
it looks today
Comments By Linda Imhoff
The farm pond was dug by Lester and Gladys Mackerts in
the late 50's or early 60's. My first memories of the area
where the pond is was a pig lot.
There were a lot of trees...
kind of a wild area.
The large barn in the rear was built for Lester Mackert by
my Grandfather Edward Mackert in the 50's to house
Lester's herd of Angus cattle. A
large pasture was fenced
in for the cattle to the south of the house. The pasture
was
eventually sold by Bertha Mackert and turned into
building
lots.
