Otilla M. Myers
Otilla M. Myers, 79, formerly of Lorain, died Saturday at Erie County Care Center in Huron following a sudden illness on May 17, 2002. Born in Lorain, she lived in the Huron and Sandusky areas most of her life. Mrs. Myers was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include sons Raymond Dute of Norwalk, Dean Dute of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughters Joanne Grant of Huron, Mary Ellen McConkey and Barbara Tunnell, both of Elyria, Edna Heimrick of Burton, S.C., Jade Cordle of La Conta, Fla., and Melody Lynne Michel of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers John Olah of Lorain and Nickolas Olah of Elyria; and sisters Ethel McCartney of Elyria and Stella Faskanian of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Meri (nee Palzer) Olah; a brother, Julius Olah; and sisters Goldie Aikens, Magdelene Perry and Margaret Petrosky and her first husband Sylvester Jacob Dute. A memorial service will be announced by Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Erie County Care Center, 3916 E. Perkins Ave., Huron.
