                       Margaret Mae Bradley Smith  

Macon, Ga- Margaret Mae Bradley Smith,79,went to be with her lord and savior Sunday night, February 22, 2009, in Macon Ga., and is now singing in the Heavenly Choir.

She lived her whole life in Lorain,Ohio, as her ancestors settled there in 1892. She was a alumnus of Virginia Intermont College majoring in Business Administration. She had a early singing career as Cindy Kaye appearing on the Gene Carroll Show and later at church and weddings. Her life was devoted to her family and she loved helping others. For many years she was active at First Church of Christ Scientist {Elyria,OH} ,head of the voting polls, and a Den Mother.

Her hobbies were stamp and coin collecting and travelingaround around the USA in the family moter home.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Samuel and Lillie  D.Bradley;maternalgrandparents George P. and Lottie Angersbach;parents John T. and Theo-Mae Bradley; sister Hattie Nagy and nephew Dale Robert West.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Hartley James Smith Jr. of Warner Robins, Ga; one son and daughter-in-law Bradley Hartley and Anita Carol Smith of Lake Sinclaire, Ga;two nephews Danny { Dreama} West of Lorain,Ohio, and Dean {Linda} West of Elyria, Ohio; one niece Delilah {Dan} Hartzell of Sandy Valley, Nev; many great-great-nieces/nephews.

Her Memororial service will be in Lorain, Ohio, Monday, March 2, 2009, at 2 p.m. with Polly Albrecht officiating in the Elwood chapel, burial afterwards. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be given in memory of Margaret Mae to the organization of their choice. The Walter A. Frey Funeral Home, 700 West Erie Avenue,Lorain, Ohio is entrusted with the arrangements.
