                                              Leonard H Dellefield

ELYRIA -- Leonard Henry Dellefield, 91, of Worthington,

formerly of Elyria, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Sunrise

Assisted Living Center in Worthington, of complications of

congestive heart failure.

He was born March 26, 1909, in Elyria, and was a lifelong

Elyria resident untilhe moved to Worthington a year and a

half ago.

He graduated from Elyria High School in 1928.

Dellefield was a co-founder in 1947 of the Elyria Pattern

Co., from which he retired in 1973. He had started his

career at the Elyria Foundry.

He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ,

Senior Fellowship and

the Elks Club, all in Elyria.

Survivors include his daughter Jeanne Browne of

Worthington; four grandchildren; and brothers Victor

Dellefield of Lorain and Gaillard Dellefield of Amherst. He

was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Irene (nee

 

Csesregi); parents, Peter H. and Rosa A. (nee Roebke)

Dellefield; brothers Walter, Richard and Howard Dellefield;

and sisters Helen Franklin and Donna Lentz.

Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at

Busch-Curtis-Scheuffler

Family Chapel, 114 Second St., Elyria, where services wil

l be Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Elmwood

Cemetery, Lorain.

Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice of the

donor's choice.
