She
was born July 7, 1925, in Tams, W.Va. She was a resident of Lorain since moving from West
Virginia in 1962.
Mrs. Strock was a longtime member of Broadway Assembly of God
Church,
Lorain. She enjoyed Bible study, travel, and crossword
puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Dreama West of Lorain; sons Walter G.
Strock of
Sheffield Lake, William L. Strock of Lorain and Richard L.
Strock of
Avon; sister, Elizabeth Miller of Steubenville; 10 grandchildren
and 12
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
husband,
Walter G. Strock Sr., in 1991; her parents Joseph E. and Laura
Ann
(nee Sizemore) Howington; sisters Mildred Johnson and Effie
Sihok; and
brother, Joe Howington.
Friends may call Wednesday 5 to 7 p.m. at Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada
Funeral
Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be

11 a.m. at Broadway Assembly of God, 5495 Broadway,
Lorain. The
Rev. Mark Lantz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in
Resthaven
Memory Gardens, Avon.
