Agnes J. Dellefield  (nee Lasky), 77, of Elyria Township,

died Sunday  November 25,2001 at the Grace Unit of Amherst Hospital

after an illness that lasted several months. She was born in Elyria

Township, where she lived most of her life. She also had

lived in Oberlin. She was formerly employed at Western

Automatic in Elyria and retired from the J.C. Penney Co. at

Midway Mall. She was a member of St. Paul United Church

of Christ in Elyria. She also was a member of the Lake Erie

Chapter No. 47 White Shrine of Jerusalem in Lorain and

the Elyria Chapter 165 Order of Eastern Star. In 1989, she

was Golden Ager Queen of the Amherst Potato Festival.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Irvin C.;

daughter Esther L.Groner of Elyria;and three grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her brothers, William,

George, Peter, Stephen, James, Paul, Michael, Joseph

and John Lasky. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dicken Funeral Home, 323

Middle Ave., Elyria.The Order of Eastern Star will conduct a

service at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home ,service

will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will

be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
